Samosa
11:25 AM- Potatoes - 1/2 kg
- Peas - 1 cup
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
- Green Chillies - 4 -6 finely chopped and crushed lightly
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - a pinch
- Coriander leaves - a bunch, chopped
- Salt - according to taste
- Samosa Sheets
Method:
- Boil the potatoes, peel and cut into small pieces, do not mash
- In a frying pan, add oil and splutter the cumin seeds
- Add the ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell is gone
- Add green chillies and saute for a minute
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt
- Add very little water and fry for a minute
- Add the fried peas
- Add the potatoes and cook for 3 minutes
- Add coriander leaves and mix
- Once done, fill in the samosa sheet with the above mixture
- Fry in hot oil and serve with chutney
