Chicken Fry

Today, when my hubby bought chicken pieces for making lunch, I did not feel like making those curries every time we make, really bored of it. So thought of having a dry menu, and chicken fry was the first thing that came to my mind. It is easy to make and everybody had their tummy satisfied. My little one thought it was KFC and had it to the full :), today's post gives the recipe of this easy to make chicken fry, here u go....



Ingredients:
Chicken -  1 kg, washed,  dried with cloth napkin and pierced with fork
For marination:
Ginger garlic paste - 1tsp
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Yoghurt - 2 tbsp
Tomato paste - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice - few drops
Salt - to taste


For coating:
Egg - 1
Milk - 2 tbsp
Black pepper powder - a pinch
Bread crumbs - as required
Oil - for frying
Method:
Marinate the chicken pieces with all the ingredients for the marinade. Refrigerate overnight for best results

In a pressure cooker, add the chicken pieces along with the marinade and pressure cook for 1 whistle only, no water is to be added. Remove and set aside to cool

In a bowl beat the egg, milk and black pepper powder together

Dip the chicken pieces in the egg mixture one by one with one hand and then coat it with the bread crumbs with the other hand

Fry the chicken pieces over medium heat till it turns golden and crispy

Remove on paper towel

Serve with ketchup or your favorite sauce
