Its also taken as side dish with daal, roti and rice. Let's see how to make these yummilious kababs....
Yet again I have to admit that my series 'Guest Post - Baking' is
running as expected. I have had got lovely treats through this series.
There are some blogger friends who had voluntarily sent me guest post to help me out with my baking skills. One of those
was Rafeeda and today I have Huma Kalim who blogs at Gheza-e-Shirin.
Thank you girls for your wonderful contributions!!! Gheza-e-Shirin is Food cooked with Sweetness and Love,
I love that tag line, Huma. Her blog has got a collection of all her
signature dishes with the detailed recipes and perfect pictures. Kudos to her, who inspite of having a full time career, manages to cook, click
and share her secret recipes on her blog so that new learners like me
can learn.... :). Welcoming you to my little space and lets see what she
has to say......
Thanks Razina for the invitation to guest post at your wonderful
space & a big hello to the readers of The Recipe of India. I am Huma from
the blog Gheza-e-shiriin.
I am not an active blogger but juggling between my work schedule
& home. Started my blog nearly two years back to vent out my stress
of the daily routine. When Razina started this series, I promised her to
give a post that was two months back I think. So here I am. And sorry
dear to keep you waiting.
Today I am sharing with you the chicken curry tarts. I consider
this is the best twist you can give to your left over chicken curry. And
that too prepared in few minutes.
This post is dedicated to all the Sachin Tendulkar's Fans around the world. The picture you see on the right is a Digital Autograph of him for my page, thanks BCCI for launching such a campaign in honor of the legend and giving millions of fans around the world to have his personalized autograph. Ok, as you already are well versed with the hit shots and the records he has created, but I do not know if you are aware of his other side too. Yes, the Master Blaster is a bonafide foodie!!! His love for food is so much that he has dawned the chef's hat at many times. He is a big fan of Japanese cuisine, loves seafood and even adores simple maa ke haath ka khana too. He has also fallen in love with Pakistani cuisine on his tours to the country. In his debut test match in Pakistan at the age of 16, he used to have Qeema Parathas and lassi for breakfast, which would keep him going throughout the day.
Instead of making it into Parathas, I had made these Qeema Kachoris yesterday and thought of sharing with you all and also as a Tribute to the Legend. Here you go with the detailed recipe....
Friends, today I'm sharing a very easy and healthy drink recipe. Some dried figs were lying with me from a Dry Fruit Gift Box I received during Ramadan. Well well, so I've not made this drink today, rather it was made few days after Eid. All the dry fruits were used up in making Turri - Dry Fruit Sorbet during Ramadan, except the dried figs in it. Didn't know what to do with these figs, did some google search and found this easy to make and yet a healthy milkshake, do read below......
A frozen packet of sweet corn was lying in my freezer for a week now. Usually I buy it to make Instant Sweet Corn Masala whenever I crave for some jhatpat snack. But due to some toothaches problem doing rounds in my life, it remained in the freezer untouched. When the 'Google Search: Reunion' Ad went viral, I was reminded of the sweet corn lying in the freezer and the dialogue 'roz shaam ko hamne wahan patange udani, aur uske baad jaake Yusuf ki dukan se Jhajariya chura ke khaani' and the response of his mumbai waali poti is Jhajariya??? same like mine, I too was wondering what jhajariya was.... her google search result gave this definition Jhajariya is a delicacy of Indian origin made of corn, milk, ghee and sugar garnished with raisins and nuts. Then started my search of recipes but I was not able to find one. Lubna Karim of Yummy Food informed me that she has got this recipe on her blog. From there I got to know that it is also spelled as Jajaria and when I did google search with this spelling, I found whole lots of recipes out there. I went through many of them and finally did some mix and match and made this sweet corn halwa or Jhajariya... Its really an easy recipe and tastes great.... have a look friends and you too will be hooked... :)
This time it was a long weekend in Bangalore due to Raj Utsav Day on Friday. Usually this happens very rare that a public holiday falls on this day, but whenever it does, I make it a point to perform Jumah Prayers in Mosque, have a hearty lunch in Hotel Empire, roam the commercial street and finally return home dead tired. Saturday and Sunday, were spent strolling in various malls, so finally I was free today and made this Black Forest Gateau. I made it mini, coz of two reasons, first, if the taste didn't come out well, its only me who has to eat the entire stuff and secondly if it is a complete disaster, the entire thing will be dumped in the garbage which I do with a heavy heart. The Gateau did turn well as it was received positively by Amaan....
