Ingredients:
  • Whole milk - 1 cup
  • Vermicelli (made of arrow root) - 1/2 cup, boiled for 10 minutes and immediately run cold water over it and allow it to cool
  • Tukmaria seeds - 1/2 cup, soaked in water
  • Tutti frutti - a handful (optional)
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Saffron/ kesar - few strands
  • Cashews - 3-4, roasted and cut into two
  • Ice cream - 2 scoops

Method:
  • In a non-stick pot, add milk, sugar and saffron and let it come to a boil
  • Simmer it for around 20 minutes or till it becomes a bit thick
  • Let it cool and chill
  • In serving glass, add vermicelli, tukmaria seeds and the milk and mix
  • Add the scoops of ice cream over it
  • Add the cashews and serve
