Breakfast Oats Porridge Recipe

A porridge is nothing but a dish prepared with oatmeal or cereal or any other meal and boiled with milk or water.

Today I have brought for you a healthy and quick breakfast - oats porridge with dry fruits. I've used two of my favorite dry fruits in this easy to make and high fibre recipe - walnuts and dried figs, you can use any dry fruits of your choice. You can also top these with slices of fresh fruits like bananas, apples, strawberries or any seasonal fruits or fruits as per your liking. For making it more healthier, I would recommend using low fat milk and also replacing sugar with honey or brown sugar. You can also add more flavor to it by using a pinch of cinnamon powder.

Breakfast Oats Porridge
a quick and simple to make healthy oats porridge for breakfast
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats 3 cups, low fat milk 3 tsp, sugar, adjust as desired 3-4, chopped dried figs 3-4, chopped walnuts
Method:
In a saucepan, mix the rolled oats with milk and bring to boil. Simmer for around 3 minutes Add sugar and stir to dissolve Place it in serving bowls and top it with chopped dried figs and walnuts Your breakfast oats porridge is ready to serve
