Here are some tips for making a perfect biryani:
- The gravy for biryani should always be dry
- While layering, follow this sequence: rice, mutton/chicken gravy, fried onions, coriander leaves and repeat
- Drizzle 1 tbsp of milk over the top of the rice finally
- Place a tawa below the biryani pot for dum
- Leave the biryani on dum for 20 minutes and let it rest for another 5 minutes before serving
