Fish Curry

Ingredients:
Fish - 1/2 kg, cleaned, apply salt and lemon for 15 minutes and then wash
Red chilli pickle - 1, whole
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Onion - 1, finely sliced
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Green chilli - 1, slit lengthwise
Coriander leaves - finely chopped, a bunch
Mustard oil



Method:

Coat the fish with the red chilli pickle

In a non-stick pan, heat oil and fry the coated fish slightly

In a kadhai, heat oil and fry the onions till golden brown. Remove

Add mustard seeds and let it crackle

Add garam masala powder, turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste and little water

Fry till oil separates

Add fried onion and salt and saute for few seconds

Add the fried fish and gently saute

Add required amount of water and let it come to a boil

Add green chilli and coriander leaves

Simmer for 15-20 minutes

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve
