Paneer Masala

- Paneer - 200 gms, cubed
- Onions - 1, medium, thinly sliced
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Tomato - 1, medium, chopped
- Green chilli - 1, slit lengthwise
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - as required
Method:
- Shallow fry the paneer and keep aside
- In a kadhai, heat oil and fry the onions till golden brown
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute
- Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and salt. Saute till nice aroma appears
- Add tomatoes and cook till it forms a thick paste
- Add the fried paneer pieces and mix
- Add enough water and green chilli and simmer till desired consistency is achieved
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve
