Custard

Ingredients:
  • Whole milk - 500 ml
  • Sugar - 5 tbsp
  • Custard Powder - 2 tbsp heaped
  • Cardamom - a pinch
  • Vanilla - a drop
  • Nuts/fruits for garnishing
Method:
  • Mix the custard powder separately in a small bowl with about 2 tbsp of milk
  • Pour the remaining milk in a pan, add sugar and bring it to boiling point, then lower the heat
  • Add the cardamom and vanilla followed by the custard mixture and keep stirring until the mixture thickens, for about 2-3 minutes, then turn off the heat
  • Pour into serving bowls and let it cool to room temperature
  • Garnish with nuts/fruits of your choice and refrigerate till cold
  • Serve!!!
