Peas Kofta Pulao

For Kofta:
- Minced Meat - 1/2 kg
- Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp, roasted
- Black Pepper Powder - a pinch
- Green Chillies - 4, finely chopped and crushed
- Coriander Leaves - 1 small bunch
- Salt - to taste
- Rice - 2 cups, soaked for 30 minutes
- Peas - 1/4 cup, half boiled
- Green Chilli - 1
- Onion - 1 finely sliced
- Oil/ Ghee - 4 tbsp
- Bay Leaf - 2
- Salt - to taste
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- Mix all the ingredients required for the koftas and make into balls and refrigerate for about 30 minutes
- Shallow fry them in a very little oil in a non-stick pan for a very few minutes just to give them shape and keep aside
- In a pot heat oil/ghee, add green chilli and bay leaf
- Add the onions and fry them till translucent. Remove half of it for garnishing later
- Add the meat balls and the peas, fry for few minutes
- Add the drained rice and mix
- Add water and salt
- Stir occasionally and cook till rice is done
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve
