Strawberry Jelly Panna Cotta

Ingredients:
Full cream milk - 1 cup
Fresh cream - 1 cup
Agar agar/China grass powder - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 1/4 cup, adjust according to taste
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Water - 3-4 tbsp, warm
Strawberry jelly - 1 packet

Method:

In a bowl, mix agar agar/ china grass with little water till well dissolved

In a heavy bottom pot, mix milk, fresh cream and sugar

Add the agar agar/ china grass (if using strips, strain while adding) and mix again

Now bring the mixture to a boil on low flame by stirring continuously. Remove

Add the vanilla essence and mix again

Pour it equally in dessert bowls and let it cool

Cover it with cling wrap and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or till set

Meanwhile prepare the strawberry jelly as per the instructions on the packet

Immediately place this vessel in a bowl of ice/cold water and keep stirring to cool it off immediately before it sets off

Pour the cooled jelly liquid equally over the cooled agar agar mixture and refrigerate again for an hour or two

Serve chilled
